Snow?

It’s been two years since we have had an official 1″ at the Asheville Airport. Are we going to end that snowless spell this week, yet this year? Some of our biggest snows come in March.  What do you think?

House sales create jobs

For every additional 1000 homes sold this year over last year, 500 private-sector jobs are created. Read the whole article. Wow! I hope I can help sell that many more this year. That means that for every two houses I sell more than last year, I will create a job for someone else, to say nothing about my own increased paycheck!

Where’s Fletcher?

Windsor Forest

Windsor Forest Home

Fletcher is mostly in Henderson County snuggled right on the Buncombe county line. Very close to the airport and easy driving to both Asheville and Hendersonville. Shopping, schools, and restaurants. Beside the public schools, there are several private schools. Park Ridge Health is a hospital just minutes away.  If you need the larger Asheville Memorial Hospital, it’s only 15 to 20 minutes away. Most of Fletcher has easy access to I-26. Hwy 25 runs through Fletcher also. There are several housing developments in several price ranges as well as some more rural type housing. Fletcher is a great place to live and work. And if you need to work in Asheville or Hendersonville, it isn’t a long drive. Check out Windsor Forest , one of the developments in Fletcher.

Happy New Year!

[slideshow]We have had our average snow fall of the year already, including a very White Christmas. It looks like another snowy, cold year. The average is usually 12 inches and it usually melts in  a day or two but last year and this year has made a liar out of those “usual” statistics. The ski slopes love it. It’s beautiful. Children play in it, and a few adults – so let’s just look at the positives. A brand new year is coming. Let’s look forward to more jobs – new ones being announced every week, better sales, and improvement in real estate and manufacturing. This is going to be a better year.  I know it is!
